Courtesy the technological evolution, you need to understand the fundamental principles of the technology in order to be skilled in their application and to be able to adapt rapidly with respect to technological changes.
Established in the year 1979, the department of electronics and communication imparts state-of-the-art education and training in the field of electronics and communication. The department has grown steadily in the last few decades and the initial intake of 45 students now stands at 90 students.
Developed in response to the needs of industry, this course will give you advanced level knowledge and skills in the design of complex electronic and communication systems. We combine theory with practical and project work about advanced technology helping our students to work at the forefront of all the major areas of electronic engineering. Since we have a teaching style that is research-led, the latest and pioneering technologies will be taught as part of the course. We aim to produce graduates who high-tech, greatly sought-after professionals with specialist understanding and skills in communication, but who also have a firm knowledge of electronic engineering as a whole.
The department of electronics and communication engineering (ECE) has consistently maintained exemplary academic record. We have well-qualified faculty with a vast experience and well-established individual laboratories for the students to study about various hardware and software like PCB design, 8051 micro controller, ARM controller, PLC, VHDL Programming, Matrix Lab etc.
